BIA looking for Valentine stories

The Business Improvement Association is looking for local people’s humorous stories about their significant others for their “My Funny Valentine” contest.
But the deadline to enter is tomorrow (Feb. 9), so you’d better hurry.
“We really need entries,” BIA co-ordinator Patti Anderson said this morning. “There’s gotta be some funny stories out there.
“I know some, but I don’t know if anyone wants their names put beside them,” she laughed.
Letters can be dropped off at the BIA office in the lobby of the Rainy Lake Hotel (235 Scott St.), or at Northwoods Gallery & Gifts, Howarth’s Home Centre, Pharmasave, McTaggarts, Betty’s, Sight & Sound, or Fort Floral
They also can be faxed to 274-7502.
All entrants must agree the winning letter can be published in the newspaper.
The winner will receive a prize package worth more than $300, with gifts for him and her from downtown merchants.
The winning entry will be announced on Valentine’s Day (Monday, Feb. 14) on B93-FM.
