Beware of counterfeit cash: OPP

The Fort Frances OPP has been notified there may be an increase in counterfeit bills in our region.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Economic Crime Unit has identified a number of counterfeit $20 and $5 bills that, at first glance, appear legitimate.
A closer inspection of the currency, however, will reveal the imperfections, so it is imperative that local retailers be cognizant of the fakes.
The following serial numbers have been identified as possible forgeries:
