Bearskin flights down to one a day

Starting Monday, Bearskin Airlines will only have one flight out of the Fort Frances Airport.
“It’s just a temporary thing as far as I know,” airport superintendent Bill Caul said this morning. But he added, “Over the last year, traffic has been dropping off.”^Up until now, the Bearskin schedule saw a plane arrive at 8:10 a.m., then leave, with another flight arriving back here at 11:20 a.m.
Then a second departure would occur at 1:30 p.m., with a flight arriving back here at 8:30 p.m.
The only flight out of here now will depart at 8:10 a.m. and return at 8:30 p.m.
Caul noted schedules are apt to change as attendance on flights fluctuate, but added he hopes the reduction in Bearskin flights here isn’t permanent.
