Even split into two squads, fastball players from Barwick still came out on top of their annual Canada Day tournament.
The team led by pitcher J.J. Landry romped to a 13-3 win over the one led by pitcher George Oltsher in the ‘A’ final.
Landry’s crew defeated Stratton and the Big Grassy Lightning en route to the final while Oltsher’s team knocked off Sight & Sound and the Big Grassy Braves.
The Wolves rebounded from their opening loss to beat Big Island before downing Stratton 6-1 in the ‘B’ final.
