Bards to stage ‘Little Shop of Horrors’

Press Release

Borealis Bards announces auditions for their upcoming fall production of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
This deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash hit musical has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years.
Raeanne Conat, veteran Borealis Bards performer and debut director, will lead the cast and crew in creating a local performance of this hilarious adventure about a man-eating plant.
The theatre troupe is looking for adults and children ages 13+ to help with the production. Join us on stage, or behind the scenes! Singing and non-singing roles are available. Please bring a dramatic reading or dialogue.
If you wish to be considered for a singing part, also bring a song with digital music accompaniment.
Two days of auditions will be held at Backus Community Center, 900 5th Street, in International Falls: Sunday, Aug. 19 from 2-6 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 20 from 5-9 p.m. Interested individuals can attend either audition.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Performances will be on Oct. 26-28, 2018.
