Riverside president and CEO Wayne Woods and Deane Cunningham, chair of the Riverside Foundation for Health Care, are pleased to announce the appointment of Nicke Baird to the position of foundation/corporate communications director, effective Oct. 18.
Baird was born and raised in Fort Frances, and recently moved back from Nanaimo, B.C. to be closer to family.
She brings a variety of experience and education to Riverside, including an advertising/marketing diploma and event planning experience.
She also has owned and operated a successful business in Nanaimo for the past five years.
Baird is excited to be taking on this position.
“I’m looking forward to working with the community in continuing to provide excellent health-care services and programs to the people of the Rainy River District,” she noted.
“I’m also excited to be a part of the Riverside team.”
