Members of the Assisted Living Action Group yesterday voted unanimously in favour of working with an experienced seniors’ housing corporation to develop an assisted living/retirement living community in Fort Frances.
A.L.A.G. and this corporation extensively have researched one another and mutually agreed they are a good match to move the project forward.
The A.L.A.G. Core Planning Team has worked tirelessly for four-and-a-half years, so it is very pleased and relieved to turn over the challenges ahead to an experienced company that will do the job right.
A big bonus is that A.L.A.G. will give input to customize the plan for our area as it moves along.
Another bonus is that this is a business opportunity for local contractors and future employment.
