Local artist Linda Lovisa once again is tapping into her creative side–but this time she means business.
Lovisa is gearing up to open her own home-based decorating business called “Linda’s Creative Touch.” And she plans to give people their first peek May 3 during a special open house at La Place Rendez-Vous.
“It’s very exciting,” she enthused yesterday. “Nobody else does this [here]. It’s a different approach to decorating.”
“Linda’s Creative Touch” will be a worry-free specialty consulting, decorating, and rental service that doesn’t revolve around balloons and streamers, with design adaptability for all indoor and outdoor events, including weddings, anniversaries, and conventions.
Her decorating expertise will focus on flowers, fabrics, and candles as the main ingredients, with floor to ceiling design capabilities.
“[Decorating] is not new to me,” she noted. “I can create whatever kind of look you want.”
“And it will be totally carefree to [the customer],” she stressed. “I will provide complete set up and take down.”
Lovisa said her open house will feature various decorating styles for a number of different events.
