Rob Dokuchie and volunteer firefighter Real De Gagne of the Fort Frances Fire & Rescue Service how the new cutters and spreaders recently acquired by the fire department are used to extricate people from vehicles during Fire Safety Day on Saturday at Canadian Tire. The public was able to drop by, check out fire trucks and information booths and displays, get free swag, and enter draws for fire safety prizes. This is Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 7-13).
