There was one thread–having fun–that tied all the competitors together at the four-team ‘0 to 100’ Sprint Relay Meet hosted by the Fort Frances Aquanauts Swim Team this past weekend at the Memorial Sports Centre.
Rather than the traditional format of having athletes of the same gender and age category facing off against each other, the meet which wraps up the competitive swim season locally was more about camaraderie and competition.
The Aquanauts piled up 75 medals during the two-day event, while the Cyclone Swim Club racked up 60 of their own.
