This week’s bitter cold snap has impacted exams at Fort High after buses were cancelled both yesterday and again today.
Fort High has remained open and those students with transportation to the school had the option to still write exams at their originally-scheduled time.
But those who were scheduled to write their exams, but were unable to make it to the school, will have the opportunity to write them on Monday, which is the first day of Semester II.
There is no school tomorrow due to a P.A. Day.
All buses under the Rainy River District Transportation Consortium were cancelled today, as well.
In related news, Rainy River High School, Riverview School, McCrosson-Tovell School, and Sturgeon Creek School were closed today due to a power outage in the west end of the district affecting roughly 2,000 people.
