Dryden woman charged

From the OPP

On Monday at 11:15 a.m., members of the Rainy River District OPP, with the assistance of the Community Street Crime Unit, conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act infraction here in Fort Frances.
As a result, a 29-year-old female from Dryden was arrested at the scene and transported to the Fort Frances detachment.
She subsequently faces several charges under the Highway Traffic Act and one charge under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
She also was charged with personation with intent, two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a controlled substance.
The accused was released on a promise to appear in court here on Feb. 19.
