District offices all ready to serve residents

By John Rafferty

I’m happy to report that, as of this week, all of my constituency offices in the riding are open, fully staffed, and ready to serve you.
It took some time to find suitable locations, hire staff, and get the offices set up, but they now are all up and running.
Each of my offices is ready to help you with a wide range of federal government programs and services.
My staff can help with issues related to Employment Insurance (including sickness, parental, and maternity benefits), passports, Canada Pension Plan (including CPP disability), Old Age Security (including Guaranteed Income Supplement), Veterans’ Allowances, information about programs available for small businesses, all federal tax matters, and much more.
In our Fort Frances location (located in the old CN station on Fourth Street West), Richard McKinnon and Christine Eisenzopf will be familiar faces from Howard Hampton’s team, and have been hired on to help with your federal matters in a shared office.
Richard and Christine, aside from being dedicated staff and excellent people, know you and the issues of the western part of this riding extremely well. I am thrilled they decided to join my team.
If you are in the western part of the riding and need any assistance with federal matters, or just would like to say hello, please feel free to drop by or give them a call at 274-9313.
In Atikokan, I’ve hired Val Ekstrom to represent me in the community and to help with all of your federal needs. Val is compassionate and hard-working, and I am thrilled she agreed to come aboard.
Val is available in our Atikokan office between noon and 3 p.m. from Monday-Friday.
And in Thunder Bay, Margaret Rea and Mary Kozorys are ready to help with all federal casework and to assist with community outreach. Both are experienced, and will work with me to provide you with the best service possible while establishing strong ties with local groups throughout the riding.
As you can tell, I am thrilled to have Richard, Christine, Val, Margaret, and Mary on board. If you are in the area or need assistance, please do not hesitate to drop in or give them a call.
