From the OPP
On July 27, 2019 shortly before 9 p.m. officers from the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were made aware of a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle was observed parking in a local business on Hwy. 11 in La Vallee Township. An investigation was conducted and a demand for a sample of the driver’s breath was made at the roadside.

As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Bemidji woman was charged criminally with one count of Operation of a Conveyance while impaired by alcohol.
She will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on Aug. 12, 2019 at 9:30 am.
