Wisconsin man drowns

From the OPP

Police have identified a man who drowned last week at Sparkling Lake in the Upsala area.
Last Tuesday, two males were camping and fishing on Breeze Point Island when they noticed their boat floating away.
Daniel Hesselberg, 57, from Onalaska, Wis., tried to retrieve the boat but then suddenly stopped swimming, going limp in the water.
Police determined Hesselberg suffered a medical event while in the water and died at the scene.
The male who remained on the island was stranded until he was able to flag down other boaters for assistance on Friday.
Later that afternoon, officers from the Thunder Bay OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry were advised of a possible drowning.
The investigation is continuing.
