The Associates of Ste. Marguerite d’Youville once again are looking to help make sure no one goes cold this winter.
The group will hold its annual coat drive next week.
The public is encouraged to drop off clean, used winter coats in good condition for men, women, and children at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau (the old CN station) on Monday, Oct. 24 and Tuesday, Oct. 25 from 1-4 p.m.
Mittens, hats, and boot also are welcome.
Those in need of these items then can stop by the Volunteer Bureau on Wednesday, Oct. 26 and Thursday, Oct. 27 from 1-3 p.m. and get them for free for their families and themselves.
No early visitors please.
If any coats are left after the giveaway, they still will end up going to a good cause and not be thrown away.
