Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom – Netflix – R – Drama, Music – Coming Dec 18th

Based on August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize winning play, Tensions rise between Ma Rainey (Viola Davis), her horn player and the white management determined to control the “Mother of the Blues.” This film is one of Chadwick Boseman’s final performances before his passing earlier this year.

The Midnight Sky – Netflix – PG-13 – Drama, Fantasy, Sci-Fi – Coming Dec 23

Starring George Clooney this post-apocalyptic tale follows a lonely scientist in the Arctic as he races to stop a group of astronauts from coming home to a mysterious global catastrophe.

I’m Your Woman – Amazon Prime Video – R – Crime Drama

In the 1970s crime drama, a woman is forced to go on the run after her husband betrays his partners, sending her and her baby on a dangerous journey.
