The Board of Directors of Weechi-it-te-win Family Services(WFS) is pleased to announce that Dean Wilson has been appointed to the position of Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors effective January 1, 2025.
Dean has been serving as the Director of Administration of WFS since 2017 and will be succeeding Executive Director Laurie Rose who is retiring on December 31st. Dean brings with him over 30 years of experience working with our partner First Nation communities as well as all levels of government.
Board President Chris Henderson said, “We are proud to announce the appointment of Dean as our new Executive Director and want to congratulate Laurie on a well-deserved retirement after leading Weechi-it-te-win Family Services for over 12 years as our Executive Director.”
