On Saturday at 11:30 p.m., Rainy River District OPP officers responded to a call for assistance at a night club on Scott Street.
An intoxicated male was threatening others inside the building with a knife.
Staff subdued the male prior to police arrival.
He was taken into custody when police arrive.
Leonard Remple Wall, 43, of Fort Frances has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
