Two new fires in West Fire Region

There were two new fires reported in the West Fire Region by yesterday afternoon and three declared “out.”
One new fire was in the Nipigon District and one was in the Sioux Lookout District.
Also, by the end of the day Tuesday, a total of eight new fires were reported in the West Fire Region.
Today and tomorrow, rain with possible thunderstorm activity is forecast for the eastern sectors of the region and showers and thunderstorms in the west with a mixture of sun and cloud in the central portions of the region north to Hudson Bay.
