Two men die in collision

Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Kenora Detachment Marine and Trails Unit (MTU), the North West Region Crime Unit and Technical Traffic Investigators are currently investigating a snow machine collision that claimed two lives over the weekend.
On Friday, shortly before 7:30 p.m., the Kenora OPP received a report that two snow machines were involved in a collision in the area of Hillock Creek, a remote area off of Highway 71.
Police and Tactical Emergency Medical Service (TEMS) attended the remote location by snow machine and ATV.
Two men were pronounced dead, and an injured male received medical treatment on scene and was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased have been identified as 57-year-old Larry Cameron and 62-year-old Curtis Ronning, both of Kenora.
Post mortem examinations have been conducted and the results are pending.
The investigation is continuing.
