The Fort Frances OPP is continuing to investigate a single-vehicle accident that left two people injured around 3 a.m. yesterday.
Police said the accident occurred on the 500 block of Second Street East when the driver of the eastbound vehicle lost control and struck a utility pole.
Both the driver and passenger were taken by ambulance to La Verendrye Hospital and treated for minor injuries, police added.
Police did not reveal late this morning whether any charges would be laid.
Meanwhile, a 53-year-old Couchiching woman was charged following a two-vehicle accident on the 500 block of King’s Highway around 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Police said a car entering the roadway from a private driveway struck the driver of an eastbound motorcycle.
The driver was charged with failing to yield to traffic.
