Two drivers nabbed

Two individuals were charged with impaired driving offences over the weekend.
On July 4 at 8:57 a.m., the OPP was advised of single motor-vehicle rollover on Highway 621 in Dawson Township.
Ambulance and fire attended the scene, and transported four people to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers attended the hospital and after speaking with the driver, it was determined he had been drinking.
The 18-year-old male, of Dominion City, Man., subsequently was charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over .08 mg.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and held for the mandatory seven days.
The male will make his first court appearance here Aug. 4.
Also on July 4 at 1:41 a.m., officers stopped a 2008 grey Honda after observing it driving in a suspicious manner on the 400 block of Scott Street.
A 58-year-old Fort Frances man was charged with having a blood alcohol level over .08 mg after he failed the roadside screening device and subsequent breath tests.
The vehicle was towed and held for the mandatory seven days.
His first court appearance will be Aug. 10.
