Two die in plane crash

Kenora OPP found two Minnesota men dead at the scene of a plane crash Sunday evening at Northwest Angle Inlet.
The aircraft, a two-seater white Champion, went down in a swampy, partially-wooded area.
Police responded to the incident at 8:44 p.m.—as soon as the crash was reported to them—and found the two men’s bodies at Northwest Angle Inlet.
The deceased, identified as Danny Carlson, 55, and Richard Carlson, 43, both were from Angle Inlet, Mn.
The OPP, coroner’s office, and Transportation Safety Board of Canada are continuing to investigate the crash.
Kenora OPP Cst. Tony Hale said this morning that the detachment hasn’t received any updates regarding the crash yet.
“Usually these investigations take time. But when we have anything new, we’ll report it,” he remarked.
