Two cows shot, killed

The OPP is seeking public assistance in solving a mischief and theft which occurred over the weekend in Dawson Township.
Sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday, suspects shot and killed two cows at a farm located on Fadden Road.
One of the cows was removed from the field.
Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
In other news, the OPP on Saturday located a Rainy River teen who had been reported missing Friday.
Alexi Desrosier, 15, was located safe in Fort Frances. She had last been seen around 11 p.m. on Thursday at her residence in Rainy River.
The OPP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in locating Desrosier.
Also on the weekend, two men face charges related to impaired driving. In the most recent, the OPP arrested a Sault Ste. Marie man on the 500 block of King’s Highway early Sunday morning.
The 21-year-old driver was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
And an 18-year-old Fort Frances male was arrested on the 1100 block of King’s Highway in the early-morning hours of Saturday.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
He was released from custody, and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 20.
