From the OPP
At 12:45 a.m. today, Rainy River District OPP officers received a complaint about a motor vehicle in Fort Frances.
Officers located the vehicle on the 800 block of King’s Highway 11.
The driver, a 19-year-old Winnipeg man, failed the roadside test and was arrested and taken to OPP detachment for breath tests.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory seven days.
The driver subsequently was charged with having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
He was to appear in court here today.
