Teens read too

Young children weren’t the only ones who got busy reading at the Fort Frances Public Library this summer.
Close to 100 local teens participated in the “Jiggle ‘n Jive” program at the library, where they had their name entered in a grand prize draw for every book they read.
The goal of the program was to encourage teens to read for fun, and to take advantage of the many young adult books available at the library.
Teens also were rewarded with incentive prizes like vouchers for movie rentals and passes for Cine 5 in International Falls.
Darcy Jones was the grand prize winner of a personal DVD player.
The library would like to thank their “Jiggle ‘n Jive” sponsors, the Kiwanis Club and The Movie Gallery.
