Teen Challenge plans activities Saturday

Attention all young people! What are your plans for this Saturday (March 2)? Why not join youth from across the district for an afternoon of fellowship and excitement starting at 2 p.m.
Activities will include sliding at Hang Man’s Hill, indoor games, a supper of make-your-own subs, chips, and beverage, and a program led by Teen Challenge.
This energy-packed afternoon is being offered to youth for only a toonie, along with a free-will donation for the Teen Challenge Ministry Team (TCMT)—a non-profit organization that helps troubled teens with drug and alcohol addictions, gang involvement, and crime.
Their ministry gets teens’ lives back in order by sharing God’s power through dynamic songs and powerful testimonies.
Those taking part are asked to meet at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo at 2 p.m. From there, you will be shuttled to the sliding hill!
If you’re interested in more information or donating in any way to this day, contact Leah Veldhuisen (482-2593). Once the cost of the meal is covered, remaining funds will be donated to the TCMT.
The YPS hopes to see you there to enjoy an afternoon of Christian fellowship. Alyssa Kaemingh, one of the youth at CRC, is enthused about the occasion, adding it will be worth your while to attend.
