The supper was organized by the Rainy River Area Friends of the Alzheimer Society and headed up by cook extraordinaire Deb Wagner and an army of volunteers. Marlene McNally, Val Moore and Geraldine Blight had the Penny Table Lottery loaded down with a wide array of gifts . . .Something for everyone.
Gifts were donated by merchants and individuals across the District, as were most of the ingredients. The Royal Canadian Legion Br 54 donated the use of the Legion Hall. Two chairs decorated by local artist Vivian Locking and Sheila Medwechuk were also raffled off.
