St. Mary’s Church hosted their Christmas Tea and Bake Sale Sunday afternoon of November 20 and what a delightful afternoon it was! The event hadn’t been held in two years, due to Covid.
It was easy to see the well packed church basement, told the story that people want to be together and do things again. The ladies organizing the event made sure , the room was beautifully decorated, the sandwiches, dainties and all the trimmings were delicious. One could hear the laughter, conversation and just good old time normal taking place.
Many prizes were won, Jean Bujold won the 50/50 draw of $3530. Pat Moffitt won a beautiful Christmas arrangement. The breathtaking stained glass Angel made by Kathy Mueller was won by Barb Jodin. A wreath was won by Cassandra Armstrong.
The cookie draws were won by Kynsleigh Firth and Irene Laing.
I’m sure everyone is already looking forward to next year’s Christmas Tea!
