‘Spring Fling’ set to go

Guthrie United Church’s annual “Spring Fling” auction and tea is set for this Sunday (April 10) from 2-4 p.m. at the Devlin Hall.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for kids 12 and under.

In conjunction with “Spring Fever Days” in Emo, the Legion will host its annual “Crafts Galore” next Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
A soup-and-sandwich lunch also will be offered both days.

Cards played at the Emo Legion last Wednesday saw the high go to Marilyn McDonald and Elaine Altbauer while the low went to Ester Elias and Nicole Drennan.

The Emo Legion will host its next “Country Jam” this Friday (April 8).
The next Bingo will be held there on Tuesday, April 19.
A reminder the Emo Legion will host its annual Good Friday fish fry on April 22.

A bridal shower was held Saturday at the Devlin Hall for Wendy M.
Many people attended and enjoyed an afternoon of sharing this happy occasion.
Wendy will wed Chad Wrolstad on May 7.
