Spaghetti supper raises almost $3,000 for homeless family

Robin McCormick

Crossroads School here in Devlin is pleased to announce that the March 12 spaghetti supper organized to assist the Presenger family was a resounding success.
Almost $3,000 has been raised to help the family who lost their uninsured home to a fire in February.
A final spaghetti lunch will be offered to Crossroads students on April 21, with proceeds also going to the family.
A special “thank you” goes out to all community members and businesses who donated items to the silent auction, the bake sale, and the penny table.
Thanks, also, to the many volunteers from the school and the community who worked together to make the day happen.
It wouldn’t have happened without you!
