No new fires were confirmed in the Northwest Region by yesterday afternoon.
There currently are six active fires in the region, including in the districts of Fort Frances, Red Lake, and Sioux Lookout.
All are listed as “being observed.”
The forest fire hazard is “low” in most sectors of the region.
There is an area of “moderate” in the southeast portion, including Quetico Park.
