‘Show ’n Shine’ set for Saturday

Car-lovers get ready! The International Early Iron Car Club and local Business Improvement Association will be holding “The Scott Street Show ’n Shine” this Saturday (May 21).
The classic cars will be on display from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The 100-300 blocks of Scott Street will be blocked off not only so people can roam the street and look at all the cars, but to make way for sidewalk sales.
As well, almost 20 Scott Street businesses will be selling goods tax-free for the duration of the “Show ’n Shine” event.
For the kids, there also will be AWANA Grand Prix racing and kids’ crafts in front of the Fort Frances Museum.
The museum’s fundraising committee also will be promoting its “Adopt An Artifact” campaign, where the public is welcome to have their name attached to an artifact at the museum for $20.
This money is to be used to help pay for much-needed renovations there.
