Additional senior living accommodations for Fort Frances and the surrounding area is the subject of a public meeting to be held here next Thursday (Oct. 27).
The meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Sister Kennedy Centre.
A small group of community-minded citizens has stepped forward to help further the concept of accommodations for seniors here, and has been working diligently since August to get the ball rolling.
“A first step in this process has now concluded with a potential and suitable site being identified and now made available, subject to conditions by the land owners,” group member Bill Naturkach said
“This public meeting is the second step in this process; that is, to now convene those interested in such accommodations and to determine the actual level and nature of such interest,” he added.
“So if you are interested in new accommodations, with a senior lifestyle, as an investor, occupant, owner, or renter, this meeting is for you and or your family member,” Naturkach noted.
