Al Lukas is back in the area with his band, the “11-17s.”
A singer-songwriter with pop music leanings, Lukas also has been described as a “bluesman at heart” singing songs about his life and travels.
His last show here in October was so sensational and so well-received that he has returned for an encore performance.
Lukas and his group will be playing at the Little Beaver Cultural Centre in Fort Frances this Friday (Nov. 12).
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the music starting at 7 p.m.
Admission is $15 at the door.

The next “Country Jam” will take place at the Emo Legion next Friday (Nov. 19) starting at 7 p.m.
Musicians and old-time country music fans from across the district, and all over Northwestern Ontario, once again will gather for an entertaining evening of their favourite music.
If you haven’t yet attended one of these “jams,” or have skipped the last few, make sure you mark your calendar and invite a friend or two.
Thanks again to the Legion for allowing the use of the hall and for cooking up some excellent snacks.
