Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce the winner of this year’s Canada Day Cash Lottery early bird prize is Salem Seid of Fort Frances!

The draw was at the third-annual Spring Market at the Fort Frances Curling Club on Saturday.

Seid won an all-inclusive fishing trip to Manitou Weather Station Fishing Lodge.

This trip for two includes two days and three nights of fishing, guide services, meals and accommodations for a value of over $2,200.

On behalf of Riverside Foundation for Health Care, we would like to thank Duane and Grace Cridland of the Manitou Station Fishing Lodge for their generous donation.

All cash prizes are still up for grabs, and will be drawn during the FITS activities at the Point Park at 3 p.m. on Canada Day.

The grand prize is $10,000! Other prizes include a draw for $2,000, a draw for $1,000 and 4 cash draws of $500 each.

Every ticket is eligible for all seven remaining draws, and only 2,500 are being sold!

Last year with the support of the community the Foundation was able to purchase two portable ultrasound machines for the district. This year, funds raised will be used to purchase a new mammography monitor.

Tickets are 70 percent sold out, so don’t hesitate and get yours today! Tickets are $20 each, 3 for $50 or 7 for $100.
