Wednesday, May 9 will mark the return of the famous Scott Woods band to the area.
Tickets for this presentation of “Fiddling Up a Storm” may be purchased at the Emo Legion (123 Jessie St.) or by calling 482-2250.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $10 for children aged six-12, with kids five and under being free.
Join Scott Woods and his talented band for this uplifting live show and hear the flurry of fast fingers on a fiddle or guitar similar to a hurricane or twister–or maybe the calm before the storm.
Enjoy lots of old-time fiddle music, traditional country songs, Western Swing tunes, country Gospel favourites, fancy instrumentals, sweet harmonies, smooth vocals, sensational step dancing, family humour, inspirational stories, and, of course, some trick fiddling!
Doors will open about one hour prior to show time.

The Voice of the Martyrs Canada invites you to their presentation of the one-man play, entitled “Solitary Refinement,” on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Emo.
This presentation is for ages 13+.

The Rainy River District Stewardship Group is selling white spruce and red pine tree seedlings arriving in mid-May.
They will be sold at 25 cents each in bundles of 20 ($5).
Supplies are limited. Schools and other institutions may be eligible for donations.
Pick up is at the Emo Agricultural Research Station or at the Fort Frances Library on Thursday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
