Salon holds 10th extravaganza

The light stayed on a little longer than usual at the Hair and Body Care Shoppe in Emo last Thursday.

The salon held its 10th “Christmas Extravaganza,” a tradition that started before they moved to the new location eight years ago.

About 130 people came out to enjoy the evening; while some were Christmas shopping, others were there to spoil themselves.

Either way, you could tell everyone appreciated the opportunity to cross a few things off their lists.

Again this year, Gibson Design has set up five beautiful Christmas trees in the shop, asking for patrons to vote on their favourite.

You can also go to Gibson Design on Facebook and see photos of the trees and let them know which one you like best.

People enjoyed cookies, warm cider, friendly conversation, in an inviting and festive atmosphere.

Each shopper was treated to a gift bag of goodies, and the opportunity to win anywhere from 15-35 percent off of their purchase.

Congratulations Stacey, Marnie and Diane for another successful extravaganza!
