The Emo CIBC staff, in conjunction with Rejuvenate Fitness, once again are organizing this year’s “Run for the Cure.”
Rejuvenate volunteers will officiate at the event, which will start in front of the fitness centre on Sunday, Oct. 4.
“The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC ‘Run for the Cure’ is Canada’s largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, and education and awareness programs,” its website reads.
Each year, thousands of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life unite to participate in the “Run.” Their reasons for participating vary but they all have the same goal: to create a future without breast cancer.
If you are interested in participating, pick up a registration form at the CIBC branch in Emo.
Whether you are a breast cancer survivor, a loved one, or a supporter of the cause, you can make a difference by making a donation or by taking part in this year’s “Run for the Cure.”
