Ross Donaldson is running for a seat on La Vallee council.
He is married with five children, two girls and three boys, and is the maintenance supervisor for the Rainy River District Social Service Administration Board.
This is Donaldson’s first time running for public office.
He has decide to run because he thinks people should be involved in their community. Rather than sitting back and complaining about what others have done, Donaldson feels people should try to make a difference.
He believes he is at a point in his life where he can commit the time and energy necessary to do a good job.
Donaldson knows a councillor needs to have common sense and a willingness to present and listen to new ideas, and he feels he possesses those qualities.
