No new forest fires were confirmed by yesterday afternoon and there currently are no active fires in the Northwest Region.
Kenora Fire #17, located on an island on Lake of the Woods, has been declared out at 0.1 hectares.
The fire hazard is “low” across the region.

The public is reminded that outdoor fire management remains their responsibility.
There is no day burning of brush and grass.
As well, campfires must be attended and all outdoor fires must be dead out before leaving the site.
