Principal, vice-principal changes announced

The Rainy River District School Board has appointed two principals and two vice-principals, as well as announced several transfers.
Heather Campbell becomes principal at J.W. Walker School in Fort Frances, jumping from vice-principal at Robert Moore School, while Kendall Olsen takes over as principal at Riverview School in Rainy River.
He had been vice-principal of Rainy River High School.
The two new vice-principal appointments include Al McManaman to Robert Moore School in Fort Frances and Casey Slack to RRHS.
During the last semester of the 2004-05 school year, McManaman has been an acting vice-principal of Fort Frances High School.
Slack is returning to Northwestern Ontario after having been the vice-principal of a private school in Toronto, principal of an American high school in Cairo, Egypt, and administrator of a Canadian school in South America.
Meanwhile, the following school administrators will be transferred. Bob Derksen, principal of Riverview and McCrosson-Tovell schools, is retiring.
Donna Kowalchuk, principal at J.W. Walker, will be transfered to Crossroads School.
Brian Love, principal at Crossroads, will become a vice-principal at Fort Frances High School while Leslie Barr-Kellar, vice-principal at Donald Young and Nestor Falls Schools, will transfer to Huffman.
And Gemma Lamanato is returning from leave to take up the position of vice-principal at Donald Young and Nestor Falls schools.
