The Sakwite Lake prescribed burn in Fort Frances District is planned for ignition tomorrow.
Taking place on the Korpi Road in the Sakwite Lake area, the burn will regenerate the forest by removing blowdown.
For safety reasons, people are advised to stay away from this area ahead of the ignition and then post-ignition, due to smoky conditions, fire suppression traffic, and risk due to fire activity.
