Power has been restored to Hydro One customers in the district who were without power for about four hours during the early-morning hours.
Some 1,705 customers in Fort Frances, Alberton, Miscampbell, La Vallee, Dance, Lake Despair, Emo, Chapple, Aylsworth, and Rainy Lake 17A FN were affected by the outage.
It began at 4:39 a.m., with a crew being dispatched to deal with the situation.
It was determined the outage was caused by a fallen tree and power was restored by 8:45 a.m.
