Kenora OPP is investigating the sudden death of 35-year-old Whitefish Bay First Nation man reported last night.
A post-mortem was scheduled for later today but foul play is not suspected, police said.
Police were notified around 8: 30 p.m. by the victim’s family when Daniel Joseph, a Whitefish Bay First Nation police officer, did not return from cutting wood in the bush.
When they went to check on him, they located his body near the edge of the bush where had been cutting wood.
