Police charge three teens with murder

Three teens have been charged with murder in connection with the death of a fellow teen at Pikangikum First Nation earlier this week.
A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged Wednesday after the body of Calvin Quinn, also 17, was located by police behind a residence in the community around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Quinn had been reported missing to police that afternoon.
Then yesterday, two males aged 16 and 17 from Pikangikum First Nation were arrested and charged with murder.
All three were to appear in court in Kenora today.
Meanwhile, a post-mortem examination was scheduled for today in Toronto.
The Pikangikum First Nation Police Service, with the assistance of the OPP’s North West Region Crime Unit and the Criminal Investigation Branch, under the direction of Det. Insp. Dan Davidson, are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
