Local residents have received phone calls from an individual claiming to be working for RBC.
The male caller identified himself as working for the bank and then asked for personal information, including birthday and bank account information.
The OPP has contacted RBC locally to inform them of the incident.
Police remind the public to never give out personal information over the phone.
