From the MTO
The Ministry of Transportation is advising motorists that traffic on Highway 72, at the Pelican River bridge in Sioux Lookout, will be controlled by flagging operations and a pilot vehicle starting Monday at 7 a.m. until the morning of Aug. 26.
Traffic delays can be expected.
These temporary flagging operations are required to ensure the safety of road users and workers while new bridge components are interconnected with ultra-high performing concrete.
Motorists are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage and flag persons for the safety of both workers and drivers.
We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their travel to minimize any delays.
