Park to host program on lynx

Join Voyageurs National Park wildlife biologist Brice Hansen this Friday (July 13) for a program on Canada Lynx in Minnesota.
Can you tell the difference between a lynx and a bobcat? Learn about the physical traits that help lynx survive here during this interactive program the whole family will enjoy.
Hansen also will share results from current and past research that helps explain what the presence of this wild cat of the northern forests means to the national parks and forests of the area.
The program will be held from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Woodenfrog State Forest refectory at Lake Kabetogama.
Friday evening programs are given there every week this summer, sponsored by the Friends of Voyageurs National Park.
No fee or registration is required to attend.
Visit www.nps.gov/voya for more information or contact the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center at 1-218-875-2111.
